Wall Cladding Project of the Year Finalist

December 7, 2020

We’re really excited to announce that we were a finalist in this year’s “Wall Cladding Project of the Year” award! This is a national award by the Federation of Traditional Metal Roofing Contractors (FTMRC) so we are very proud to have been considered so highly.

The project was this stunning house in Salcombe, featuring both roof and wall cladding in pre-weathered VMZinc Quartz. The client wanted random width standing-seam panels, to avoid a uniform or potentially commercial look. From an aerial aspect you would see that the seam of each wall panel continues up and over the roof and down the wall on the opposite side. This makes for a stunning, crisp finish and the zinc looks fantastic alongside the glass and timber cladding. This has to be one of our favourite jobs to date.

We are proud to be a member of the FTMRC, which involves regular vetting from one of their experts. Earlier this year we had multiple projects assessed, demonstrating our skills in a variety of materials and finishes and we were rated “Excellent”, the highest possible rating.
