Prefabricated metal roof systems have grown in popularity over recent years. These systems are usually made with a coated steel, fabricated offsite and delivered to site for a significant cost. We can offer these systems, but in our opinion we can provide a far superior traditional seam system, using the same material for a similar price. The main difference you will notice is the quality of finish, our systems have only hidden fixings and all flashings are made bespoke onsite exactly to size.

Using traditional standing seam you would expect to see the following:

Swept eaves detail, a neat technique we use to terminate the seam ends. In contrast, a prefabricated system would have a raw cut seam, which looks untidy and results in the steel core being exposed to the elements.

Verge flashings measured and made on-site with no visible fixings. By contrast, prefabricated flashings are fitted using screws and mastic, visible to all and a far lower quality finish.
